It makes me so happy to see my little girl learning.

She is like a little sponge!

You teach her something.. and she learns it!

It sounds so simple but it is truly amazing!

the farm.

The weather was SO nice today, so we headed down to Thanksgiving Point to go to the little farm they have there. They have a pony ride that I really wanted Brooklynn to go on. I knew she was going to either love it or hate it and I wanted to see which it would be. 

Turns out she absolutely loves pony rides! As soon as her little pony started walking she started cracking up laughing! She loved it so much! She was less than happy when she had to get off. She kept pointing at the ponies when we were looking at the other animals.

She did really enjoy the other animals too. 

She looked sticking her figures in the holes of the fence and touching their noses. 

SO FUNNY!

I put High School Musical 3 on and she pretty much danced through the whole movie! 

I was dying! I love my little dancer girl.

Oh the milestones!

Every time Brooklynn reaches a new milestone it makes me want to cry.

A good cry though. I am so proud of her for all that she has learned to do. Yes, she is growing up too fast, but growing is good. She scooted on her tummy for so long and just two weeks ago started to full on crawl. It was so exciting! Now that she has gained some strength she can pull herself up on pretty much anything.. so she pulls herself up on pretty much everything...

Literally, anything she can pull her self up on she does. 

She spends the majority of the day standing because it makes her feel like she's a big girl.

Which she is.

Man, if I loved this baby girl any more I think my heart would explode!

diet coke update:

had one today.. still having a hard time giving up the crutch.

But I'm only allowing myself one a day until next monday..

Hopefully I can get rid of it before then!

Head aches are getting better day by day.

I'm just getting them later in the day which is good.

I miss it so much already.

Little Friends

Yesterday I got together with some girls from my high school that all now have babies too. It's funny to see these girls who I went to high school with all being mommies too! Makes me feel like we are really old.. even though we're not. :)

We met up at a park by my house and Brooklynn felt sand for the first time. She was very curious and I feel she liked it a lot. I love watching her explore new things! All of the girls have little boys who are at least 17 months old so she would watch and study everything that they would do. She wants to be able to walk and play like they did SO bad!

I really enjoy talking with other moms who have babies who are older than Brooklynn and ask them about different things that they have done with their children. It also was fun to catch up with them. I hadn't seen Meghan in over a year, and I hadn't seen Alayna since high school! Nicole I see more than that but still not enough!! And all of their little boys are SO dang cute!!m

After the park we had yummy Rubios and then B was expired. 

I wish I could get together with these girls more often but living in Utah and St. Louis does not allow that. 

Well, I do love it when I can.

Fun With Jersey

This afternoon Brooklynn and I went to see my friend Shauny and her cute cute little girl Jersey. It was so fun catching up with her! I'm mad at her for leaving Utah and moving back to perfect California! How dare her! Okay, I would do the same thing! But I was glad to catch up with her and it was so funny to see Brooklynn try and play with Jersey! Brooklynn is usually around other kids who are bigger than her, so she didn't really know what to do with Jersey who was smaller than her. It was pretty cute!

A Photo And An Idea.

Alright lovelies, I promised a photo so I'm gonna give you a photo. Two photos actually! Today I wore my new shirt and felt way cuter today than I have in a while!
I know the shirt I bought is still pretty simple but it's a big step up from my v necks! 
I plan on adding a few new things to my wardrobe.
Every time I wear something new I am going to post a photo. 
Help rebuild my self esteem!

Today we went to the mall with my sister-in-law Marilyn for dinner and we stopped in Destination Maternity so she could get some pants... cause she's pregnant.
And they had this little contraption in the store...

Umm.. pretty cool. B loved it.
I've decided that when we finally settle down in a house we are building one of these.. Mine will look a little different with different toys but for reals, how cool would that be? A safe little place for babies/toddlers to play in while mom can do things around the house!?
Pretty incredible if you ask me.
