happy fathers day to all those awesome fathers in my life..

to my dad who raised me to be the person i am today and is the best papa ever, i love you.

to my father-in-law who raised the man i love and is the best grandpa ever, i love you.

to all my brother-in-laws who treat all my favorite girls and my nieces and nephews right, i love you.

and last but definitely not least, to my husband, who is the best husband and father i could ever hope for, I LOVE YOU!

saturday is the best day of the week. curtis isn't working and we have the whole day together to do whatever we want as a family. it's the best. today we hit up the dollar theater to see rio 2 which i absolutely loved. the music in that movie is so fun and so good i just wanted to dance the whole time. brooklynn did great. quinn did pretty good too, she is just so wiggly. she does not want to sit on your lap now that she can get around all on her own. but overall i'd say she did pretty good.

after that we went home for a little afternoon nap and then headed over to my brother scott and his wife brittany's house for a little bbq. we played a little bean bag toss game and talked and had some amazing burgers (thanks scott!!) it was a great time! i am so happy to be back in utah. so happy i can hang with my little bro and britt again! we love them so much! it was a pretty awesome day!

mothers day.

I am one lucky lady to be this girls mama!

Being a mom has been the greatest most challenging thing in my life.

I love her more than words can explain and I can't wait to add more little ones to our family!!

Happy Mothers day to my amazing mother and mother-in-law! You both are incredible women and I am so blessed to have you in my life!

GREAT grandparents.

Yesterday Curtis had to go to Dallas to pick up some equipment for his office so we decided to stop by and see his grandparents.

I of course was super excited about this because I had never met them and they had never met Brooklynn.

It was so amazing to finally meet them and they are seriously the nicest people! 

I am so happy to be apart of their family!!!

It was fun for B to meet her great grandparents! and they really are great!

the circus came to town!

This weekend the circus came to town. So we of course had to go! My friend Diana, her husband and little girl, and a couple of Curtis' technicians came with us. Luckily is was a very overcast day because even without the sun it was HOT! We were all sweating but it will still a fun experience. Brooklynn and Jordan did a pony ride with their daddies, and fed the goats before the show. We even saw a pygmy hippo!

The actual show was pretty good. Brooklynn loved all the animals but the motorcycle on the rope made her very nervous. There was a contortionist that we super creepy to say the least. But everything else was pretty cool. The elephants were hilarious. After the show the elephants were outside swaying back and forth to the music! I loved it! It was just very hot! 

Coronado

Yesterday, being the day before my little brothers wedding we took a family trip down to San Diego. Scotty is the last one to get married so we had a little family celebration I supposed you could call it.

We took a ferry out to Coronado, walked around, got dinner and a pizza place right on the ocean (the biggest pizza's ever!), then got caramel apples before heading back.

It was a fun little family trip and Brooklynn had a great time playing with her cousins that she loves so much! 

The wedding was awesome today and i'll post photos of that tomorrow! :)

the farm.

The weather was SO nice today, so we headed down to Thanksgiving Point to go to the little farm they have there. They have a pony ride that I really wanted Brooklynn to go on. I knew she was going to either love it or hate it and I wanted to see which it would be. 

Turns out she absolutely loves pony rides! As soon as her little pony started walking she started cracking up laughing! She loved it so much! She was less than happy when she had to get off. She kept pointing at the ponies when we were looking at the other animals.

She did really enjoy the other animals too. 

She looked sticking her figures in the holes of the fence and touching their noses. 

SO FUNNY!

dino museum.

The other day I met up with my friend Jocelyn and her little boy Brix and the Dinosaur Museum! Brooklynn had a great time running around with Brix! So much fun!
