san juan :: puerto rico

Our third stop was in San Juan, Puerto Rico. We got off the bus and took a local tour around old san juan. It was beautiful and we saw some amazing sights such as the capitol building and the walk of the presidents. They had a statue of every president that came to Puerto Rico while they were president. We ate breakfast in this cute little cafe right in the heart of San Juan. When we got there the sun was shining and by the time our tour was over and we had been walking around the city for about 30 minutes it started pouring rain. But not before I got to be a bird lady. There was a bird man and he gave us seeds to hold and it was CRAZY how many pigeons landed on me. Which if you think about it is pretty gross but it was hilarious and actually really fun. I took a very long shower after though. haha. Ah but that rain. It was amazing. I can't tell you how much I love warm rain. It is seriously the best ever! We ran around the city in the rain then headed back to the boat. We had so much fun!

*also I apologize that my posts have been so sparatic lately but we have finally found a place to live and we don't get internet until sunday so i've been having to come to the library when I can. Next week will be better I promise!*
