not feeling so great

today i have been so sick. my throat hurts so bad! and i have the worst head ache! this is not cool. i can't take any medicine being pregnant and all so hopefully it just goes away on it's own. i would really like to not have to go to the doctor. so hopefully i wake up tomorrow and it is all gone! :) i know staying on the phone with curtis all night as he drives isn't going to help my situation but i can't help it. i hate that he has to drive so far. but he's tough.

summer has begun

i am officially in california living at home for the summer while curtis works in cleveland for the summer. it's only been 4 days and i feel like we've been apart for months. no fun. but i know it'll all be worth it in the end. and i must say living at home is not awful. i have a lot of friends here to spend time with and my family is amazing and they are doing a great job taking care of me. :)

last friday i got to go to lunch with my friend joee which is always a good time even though i ate way more then i should have. then that night i hung out with my friend melanie who is the greatest ever! we got quinzos and just talked all night. then saturday i went to gavin and collins baseball game which is always fun. they are so good! then that night went to dinner with my parents where they met my sisters fiances parents. it was good everyone got along! then my parents and i went and saw the backup plan. it was a pretty funny movie. i remember being in high school where i wouldn't be caught dead at the movies with my parents on a saturday night but now it's one of my favorite things to do. funny how time changes. today has just been a lazy day and now i'm watching the music man with my family. it's nice to be able to relax.

i know i'm going to have a good summer but boy do i miss curtis.

and at least i am going home to my wonderful family who i know is going to take care of my pregnant self.

and i knowing my family, my baby girl who is not born yet is going to be spoiled all summer.

i'm excited to spend so much time with my family and friends in california...

but i sure am going to miss curtis.

saturday

on saturday after curtis and i did some more cleaning around the house we went to the zoo!! it was so much fun! i love animals! first when we saw the elephants there way a baby one! it happened to be the funniest elephant we had ever seen! this little guy was running around chasing a ball, running into the wall, laying down throwing little fits, running like it was going to run into people and everything else a funny elephant could do. we saw a lot of cute monkeys which are my favorite animals! another highlight of the zoo was this awesome giraffe. this was the closest i have ever gotten to a giraffe! also look how long their tongues are! holy cow so gross! but kind of cool at the same time! :) there were a ton of other beautiful animals but those were definitely the highlights. i'm excited to spend my summer in california so i can go to all of the zoos there! overall our time at the zoo was so fun! i only have 3 days left with curtis before our summer apart begins. gotta make the best of it!
