Pageant of the Masters

For those of you who do not know what Pageant of the Masters is, it's 90 minutes of art re-creations of classical and contemporary works with real people posing to look exactly like their counterparts in the original pieces. It's in an out door amphitheater, an original score performed by a live professional orchestra, live narration, amazing sets, incredible lighting, expert staff, and over 700 volunteers to make the show something you have to see at least once in your lifetime.

I was in the show for about 6 years of my life and it was one of the best experiences I have ever had in my life. My whole family was involved so every summer 7 days on then 7 days off my family headed on down to Laguna Beach to do the show. Here is a photo that has been on the Pageant of the Masters website for years that is actually me. If you look closely at the face of the girl in the blue dress you can tell that it's me. :)

Last night my mom and I were able to go see the show this year! It was amazing! The theme was "Eat, Drink, and by Merry". There were a lot of fun surprises in the show. I even found out that the conductor of the orchestra for the past 2 years including this year is now my old choir director from high school John Elg! That was very exciting to see him! It was a great night out with my Mom and I loved the show! Seriously, if you ever get the chance to see the show, I highly recommend it!

Me and my Mom! :)
