music...

"we recognize the universal power of music to touch the hearts of men and women everywhere and in all generations - to inspire and encourage, to sustain and lift, to comfort and bring peace"
-President Gordon B. Hinckley

i couldn't have said it better. music is very powerful, i know that is has the power to effect my mood for the good or the bad. but church music always comforts me no matter what i am going through, so after feeling a bit down today i pulled out one of my old EFY cd's and gave it a spin. i came across this song called, time that's left by, dave kimball. the music is really pretty and i love the lyrics, so here they are.

what will you do with the time that's left
will you live it all with no regret
will they say that you loved til your final breath
what will you do with the time that's left

what will you do with the time that's past
with all the pain that seems to last
can you give it to Jesus and not look back
what will you do with the time that's past

what will He say when your time has come
and He takes you into his arms love
with tears in His eyes will he say "well done"
what will He say when your time has come

i will reach for a higher way
i will follow him all my days

what will you do with the time that's left
will you live it all with no regret
will they say that you loved til your final breath
what will you do with the time?

i know that i need to fill my days with good things and always to my best no matter what it is that i'm doing so that when my day does come He will say "well done".
what will you do with the time that's left?
