Week 1 Weigh In!

It has been one weeks since I started my diet & exercise! I did really good. I didn't eat over 1400 calories each day and I exercised for at least an hour a day. 

One week ago I weighed:
145 lbs

Today:
143 lbs

I'm not going to lie. I am a little sad that I didn't lose more weight. I know that because I've been running and doing leg exercises that I've probably lost more fat and gained muscle. But I still wish I would have seen a bigger drop.

This week I think I am going to try something different. 

For one week I am going to go on a carb fast! No carbs for a week! Just protein, fruits, and veggies.
This is going to be very hard because I LOVE carbs!
But, I am determined! 
I will continue with my exercise but with no carbs!
Wish me luck! 
I gotta get to that 115!!!

You can do it! Seriously 2 pounds in one week just starting off is ridiculously amazing!

Hey yeah, 2 pounds in a week is great! And here's the thing, you really don't weigh a lot... I mean, a 300 pound person will shed 10 pounds in a week because they have that much to spare! Nice job though, I've probably gained 2 pounds this week I've been gone, so I totally am jealous of your self control! hehe

Also congrats on the weight loss. I am right there with you and I know how hard it can be. I've lost 32 pounds but still have 28 to go. Ugh!!!! Anyway, great job. Keep it up!! Your daughter is beautitiful btw.
