4th of July Weekend Boat Trip.

All of the technicians and their wives or girlfriends rented a boat on the Lake of the Ozarks. So 6am we headed out there. It's about 3 hours away so we wanted to get out there early. We got the boat then headed out to find a beach to set up camp. Marilyn was pregnant so she didn't want to be on the boat while we ere going fast.
We drove the boat around for about 30 minutes and could not find a beach anywhere.
We finally found this spot where we could go that basically was a bunch of college students drinking and playing volleyball. Not the most ideal spot but it was all we could find. So we dropped Marilyn and Zach off and headed out. We knew the lake was going to be busy but we didn't realize that the water was going to be as choppy as it was.
Only Curtis and Kevin were able to get up on the wake board, and there was no point in anyone trying to ski. So everyone pretty much just stuck to tubing. Curtis and I went on the tube together and pretty much got rocked. (We both are extremely sore today).

After we went and got dropped off to join Zach and Marilyn on the "Jersey Shore" to give Brooklynn a break from her life jacket. We were just sitting on these pool chairs in the blazing heat. We kept having to go under the little shower thing to keep cool. Brooklynn was so tired and slept for a total of one hour the whole day! We felt really bad for her. So after sitting in the heat for 2 hours and being stung by a wasp twice in a row, we finally got back on the boat just in time for a storm to hit... Being on the lake during rain and a lighting and thunder storm is kind of freaky. But we finally made it back to the dock, packed up and headed home.
